Bio
Sofia first joined Feldstein Family Law Group P.C. as a Summer Student in 2023 and returned as an Articling Student in 2024–2025. Following her Call to the Ontario Bar in June 2025, Sofia was welcomed back to the firm as an Associate.
Before attending law school, Sofia earned her Honour’s Bachelor of Social Work at York University. She then worked as a crisis counsellor in York Region, supporting survivors of intimate partner and family violence. This experience deepened her commitment to advocacy and laid the foundation for her empathetic, client-focused approach to family law.
While obtaining her Juris Doctor at the University of Western Ontario, Sofia developed a strong interest in family law. She completed specialized coursework and worked as a Family Law Caseworker at Community Legal Services, a community-based clinic that provides free legal services to low-income individuals in London, Ontario. Sofia also worked as a Research Assistant at the Centre for Research & Education on Violence Against Women & Children, contributing to the Family Violence in Family Law project.
Sofia is a dedicated and compassionate advocate who strives to provide high-quality, individualized service to each of her clients. She understands the emotional complexity of family law matters and works to develop thoughtful, creative solutions—whether through alternative dispute resolution or litigation.
Sofia’s practice encompasses all areas of family law, including parenting time, decision-making responsibility, child and spousal support, and property division.
Outside of work, Sofia enjoys travelling, reading, and spending time with her two dogs.
