Alternatives to Court

Today, I'll explain how our firm uses several forms of dispute resolution in order to help parties reach settlements as quickly and amicably as possible.

I’m Andrew Feldstein and I am the principal and managing partner of the Feldstein Family Law Group.

Every separation and divorce is different. At the Feldstein Family Law Group, we cater to those differences by using several forms of dispute resolution. Our firm is committed to helping parties reach a settlement as quickly and amicably as possible.

Contrary to popular belief, very few matters ever make it to a trial. That’s a lot of Hollywood and it makes for good movies. But the reality is that the vast majority of matters are settled out of court. And that’s a good thing because the costs of going to trial add up.

Most often, matters are resolved using negotiation paired with brief court appearances. We also offer mediation services. One of our lawyers can represent you at a mediation, or even act as a mediator for you and your spouse. These alternative forms of dispute resolution often provide a cost effective solution for parties with only minor disagreements, and for parties who are able to work together after the breakdown of the relationship.

When looking for a lawyer to represent their interests, clients ultimately choose the Feldstein Family Law Group because of who we are. We are a team of professional men and women who believe in a civilized approach to matrimonial matters. We want to help you come to a quick resolution, using whichever approach works best for your situation.

Take some time to evaluate different ways of resolving your family law dispute. Use thealternative to court articles andalternative to court videos on our website to learn about the different forms of dispute resolution we offer, and when you’re ready to move forward, contact us at (905) 581-7222.
