Constance Nielsen - Family Lawyer
Constance Nielsen graduated summa cum laude with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from York University where she majored in Law and Society. Constance received her L.L.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Bar in June 2008.
Constance Nielsen initially joined Feldstein Family Law Group in 2007 as an articling student where she received intensive training in all areas of family law. After successfully completing her articles she was offered a position as an associate lawyer.
Constance has experience in all areas of family law including divorce, custody and access, spousal and child support, property, as well as, jurisdictional and evidential issues. She believes in practising law in a client-focused manner and always ensuring that all actions taken on a file bring her clients closer to their end goal. She believes that different legal situations warrant different approaches and is happy to assist clients in which ever approach their file requires, including, but not limited to, negotiation, mediation and litigation.
Prior to joining Feldstein Family Law Group Constance worked as a Division Leader at the Community and Legal Aid Services Program where she practised family and education law. She was also an editor of the seminal children’s law text Wilson On Children and the Law. She wrote extensively on issues surrounding children’s involvement in family law matters.
Constance’s interest include: spending time with her children, camping, canoeing, reading, fine art, theatre, book club and brunching with friends.
