The Unbundling of Legal Services

At Feldstein Family Law Group, we understand that the expense associated with comprehensive legal services can be prohibitive for some. We also understand that the legal system can be quite confusing and daunting to face on your own. It is our belief that every individual should have access to the legal system which has been created for us all. Typically when our clients retain our services they will receive comprehensive representation from counsel who will assist in all aspects of their matter. If a comprehensive retainer is not something that you want, or perhaps it is not something that you can afford at this time, we also offer the option for clients to retain our services on a limited retainer basis. This is known as the unbundling of legal services. With this option clients may hire a lawyer for a part, but not all of, their matter. For example, an individual may hire a lawyer to complete a specific task or provide legal advice regarding a specific portion of their matter without going “on the record” as the person’s solicitor.
