I was married in Ontario but no longer live there. Where do I apply for my divorce?

It depends. If your spouse still lives in Ontario and satisfies the ordinarily resident requirement as well as resided in that province for one year immediately preceding the commencement of the proceedings then you may still apply for a divorce in Ontario. Or, you may apply for a divorce in your new location. This will be possible only if you have lived there for at least one year immediately preceding the commencement of the proceedings and satisfy the ordinarily resident requirement.
