Shilpa Mehta

Shilpa Mehta joined the team at the Feldstein Family Law Group as an articling student in 2010. After receiving thorough and varied training from the firm’s lawyers, Shilpa returned to the firm as an associate lawyer in 2011, following her call to the bar. Shilpa practices in all areas of family law including divorce, custody and access, division of family property and support. It is Shilpa’s practice to consult with her clients and attempt to develop meaningful solutions that are consistent with her client’s needs and expectations. Prior to commencing her articles with our firm, Shilpa attended York University where she enrolled in a concurrent program of study earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science as well as her Bachelors degree in Education. After completing her degrees at York, Shilpa briefly worked for the Toronto District School Board where she actively took part in education policy development and reform. Shilpa obtained her LL.B. from the University of Windsor in 2009. During her final year at Windsor, Shilpa dedicated her time to the Legal Aid of Windsor and worked zealously to further her client’s claims for support and social assistance. When she is not working, Shilpa enjoys travelling, reading, watching movies and most importantly spending time with her family and friends.
