Lianne B. Eklove - Family Lawyer
Since her call to the Bar in 1993, Ms. Eklove’s practice has focused exclusively on family law, encompassing nearly every aspect of the field. After more than 10 years with a prominent Bay Street family law firm, Ms. Eklove relocated her practice to York Region in 2005. Ms. Eklove has extensive experience resolving high conflict, acrimonious family law matters in a wide variety of jurisdictions throughout Ontario. She has worked on cases at all levels of court in Ontario, including the Court of Appeal. Ms. Eklove's straightforward and aggressive approach to family law promotes and facilitates favorable outcomes for her clients.
Ms. Eklove has authored and co-authored numerous papers and precedent materials on family law topics, and was instrumental in authoring a comprehensive separation agreement precedent developed for use by the Family Law Bar.
She is a Member of the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association and the Women’s Law Association of Ontario.
Ms. Eklove holds an Honors Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from McGill University and obtained her LLB (Cum Laude) from the University of Ottawa in 1991.
